Appointments may occasionally run over. Kindly allow up to 15 minutes for your provider to join. If your provider hasn’t joined after 15 minutes, or if you experience any technical difficulties, please contact our office at 804-251-3364.

Making the Most of Your Visit:

Before You Connect:

  • Join by yourself from a quiet, comfortable, private location.
  • Test your internet, device, camera, and audio beforehand.
  • Ensure good lighting so your provider can see you clearly.
  • For safety, you cannot be driving during our session.

during your session:

  • Position your camera at eye level with your face centered on screen (camera must be on for the session).
  • Check that your audio is working and volume is adjusted.
  • Close other apps to improve connection quality.

Important Medicare Update for Telehealth Services

Medicare now requires periodic in-person visits for behavioral and mental health telehealth services:
  • New patients: Must be seen in-person 6 months before their first telehealth appointment.
  • Existing patients: Those receiving telehealth services before October 1, 2025, must have at least one in-person visit per year.
